Story: Lonliness is a privalege for the rushed man, while is a disease which feeds off hope for those who have it. But beauty can be found in nature, where you may be lonely but never alone. To be alone is a true fate, if ever there is such a thing.
This is my first piece in a quite a while. I tried to work for minimalistic composition this time, and i also tried a different method for the nebula.
I decided to just have the one planet as an almost twin feel to the piece, and also to give the idea of loneliness and solitude.
Hey Sam! Good job! it really does have a minimal feel to it!
Let me explain
Planet:
The planet atmosphere has a lovely dreamy affect,
& the atmosphere glow is nicely done,
however, the glow does not seem to dynamically fit to the crescent, what i mean is, the actual main glow ends sort of abruptly into a medium sort of glow, the medium glow ends dynamically, but the main glow does not seem to end dynamically into the medium glow, if you get me but overall it is a fairly nice atmosphere.
The planet texture is truly astounding here, it has very good depth & shapes,
A very very good planet from you Sam, good job
Nebulae:
Yes, does seem different from your normal,
But definitely in a good way,
it has some very nice shapes & wispyness,
i presume this is a smudge nebulae?
it has the shapes of one, very smooth,
quite nice, i like it
The flare stars in the nebulae are also well placed & look fantastic,
good job
Title Placement:
The title placement is nicely aligned,
& it dosnt distract from viewing the image,
& the sort of blur to them adds to the dreamy affect,
good job!
Composition:
The compositon is fair enough,
& you definitely can feel the simplistic effect,
makes quite a nice wallpaper,
Everything is fairly well placed,
so overall good work
Overall:
Overall a fantastic simplistic picture that makes an excellent wallpaper!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
