- We watched as the first volley descended. Fear wasn't apparent in the looks of those around me; it was something else, something worse, something far more spectral. I could feel the heat swell up in my chest, in my face and in my eyes. It was a look of acceptance, a look that proved the sucess of this opression. They had won. Those who had remained forever fighting were bested, beaten. Concussed. -

WAR PACK ENTRY by and that has been going on for faaar too long now. A very interesting piece to work on as I ended up doing alot more post work than normal. Still, turned out nicely I do believe, especially due to cloud stocks from sxc. Little much more to say apart from great to work with sami...AGAIN >.<

Lighting on thesmall planet in the clouds seems off, unless there's ANOTHER light source

The nebulae isn't the lightsource. It is at night. So in fact the moon is being lit out of view. ;)

Fantastic job. Did you use photoshop for this? And does it irritate you that the 200 people who faved this didn't all comment? Haha.

Anyway, I'm faving this because it pretty much gave me the same feelig you described in the story. A fantastic war it must have been...
